Yasmin Tasan

Yasmin Tasan practices in the areas of structured finance and international arbitration.

Ms. Tasan represents commercial lenders as well as export credit agencies (ECAs) in a variety of aircraft financing transactions, including capital markets offerings and finance and operating lease structures. She has supported lenders and ECAs in both direct and guaranteed financings of commercial wide body aircraft, private business jets and helicopters for commercial airlines, leasing companies and operators in jurisdictions across Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and Central America. She has also represented Export-Import Bank of the United States in a variety of portfolio management issues, including equipment exchanges, re-registrations and wet and dry leasing of financed aircraft.

Ms. Tasan’s international arbitration experience includes the representation of German and U.S. investors in an UNCITRAL arbitration against the Government of Belize and subsequent enforcement proceedings in the United States District Court.

Ms. Tasan received her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law and a B.A. in Art History and a B.A. in English from The George Washington University. She is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia.
